The movement of a wave is captured in the hand motion in this painting. Inspired by a martial art style called ‘Nami Ryu’, Randy Horton captures the movement of a wave that both receives and delivers energy. The motion is both within and outside of time, allowing the viewer to both follow movement while being juxtaposed onto the wave and splash of energy.
